Today is my 31st birthday and even though the day has just started, I can already feel something extraordinary brewing.
Thanks to the transformative year I had last year, I get to begin my personal New Year as the powerful, loving and responsible woman I’ve finally embraced in the place I’ve prayed for years to be, both literally – in my own home in Charlotte, NC – and figuratively – living my life like it’s golden. For the first time in my adult life, I am satisfied with where I am and confident about where I am going.
My vision for the year ahead includes less caution and more bold action; less limitations and more possibilities; less negative self-talk and more self-assurance; less exhaustion and more self-care; less frustration and more patience; less anxiety and more trust; less time online and more time connecting in person; less processed and fast food and more nutritious meals; less laziness and a more active lifestyle; less beating up my reflection in the mirror and more body positivity; less quick noes and more intentional yeses; less careless spending and more responsible investing; less time spent on the couch and more time spent exploring; less later and more now; less sharing on social media in real time and more being present; less Mommy and more Tramayne; less Tramayne and more God; less complaining and more gratitude; less excuses and more results.
I am so excited about what’s to come this year and even more excited that I get to start bringing my vision to life now. That’s one of the best birthday gifts I’ve ever received.
